Tonight’s event was notable for an influx of visiting young Irish athletes. They claimed to be debutants – but watch out for the names Dixon and Callan on the global triathlon circuit in future!
It was also notable for the absence of ALL of the wonderful ladies who have done the timing for so many of these events this summer, which made me appreciate all their past help all the more. It also gave me the perfect excuse not to have to DO the event as I had to time it instead. Apologies for any errors or omissions – if you spot one, please give me a heads up at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to correct it.
