The Argo Re Summer Series resumed on 14 August after a two week hiatus due to a combination of Cup Match and then bad weather.

The rapidly improving Ben Lau was the overall race winner, closely followed by our leading lady Sharon Alikhani. Gerhard Boonstra — a relative newcomer to triathlon — showed that he’s also improving by placing third. An honourable mention to Zoe Roberts, who only broke 30 minutes for the first time recently; on this occasion she comfortably broke 29 minutes and was the second lady home.

A big thank you to Dawn Johnson for organising the event–and, with our usual volunteers away on this occasion, she had to do most things from opening up, to recording the results, to (knowing Dawn) probably providing wise counselling to athletes after they finished!
