Ian Pilgrim must have a magnetic personality! When he kindly runs these events, the numbers usually soar–even if nobody knows he’ll be the race director beforehand. The fifth race in this season’s Argo Re Summer Series was no exception. Big thanks to Ian and to everyone who helped him, enabling a big field to take part.
It was nice to see some “old” faces return for the first time this season, along with a number of newcomers. Congratulations to Tim Fox for winning the race, and to Alyssa Rowse, our “leading lady”. In the shorter race, Nick Pilgrim took line honours, followed by Lynsey Palmer.
